The Field Engineer’s Guide is a field manual for investigating and engineering education programmes in the developing world. It’s both an internal resource for Applied Cognitive Science field engineers, and for others wishing to create meaningful change in developing economies. It serves to inspire and enable evidence-driven impact engineering in the developing world. Currently in development, it’s intended for open source release – a living document that will grow and adapt with use.
The guide will cover how to work in classrooms, how to decode student behaviour and engineer classroom dynamics.
Exercise templates will help anyone diagnose skill gaps and understand student behaviours.
